Square-Enix Has Assembled the First Three Hitman Games Into an HD Collection

Correct me if I'm wrong:

Doesn't this HD collection include 2, 3, and 4? No mention of the first Hitman game, a PC exclusive, as far as I am aware. Not saying this is a bad collection, but it is not the first three games: it is the first three multi-platform releases from the core series.

Enjoyed them after got to grips on how to play the series with a few hours. Some of the best level design ever. Gameplay holds up for the most part. Glad I got round to playing em before the new Hitman. The achievements are lame tho no effort.

They go back through and fix problems that the games had as well as rendering the game in a higher resolution than the original releases.

But they don't have to do that. There's a reason why they didn't release the HD collection on PC. Why would you pay over $30.00 for that when you can buy the games for about $15.00 or lower, not to mention the countless mods that can make the games look a lot better than what this HD collecion has to offer.

Yeah, and the PC collection doesn't have Contracts since it wasn't an HD release. I hope they released updated versions of the other Hitman games for PC because I enjoyed playing through Absolution.

The collection is advertised as including Contracts, Silent Assassin, and Blood Money. In all honesty, if it includes Contracts, there's really no need to have Codename 47 in the mix. There are so many missions from the original that are redone in Contracts that it would be kind of redundant and the art from Contracts is much less of a leap to "HD" than the original would be. Still, you will miss out on some of the origin story of 47.

I agree. Codename 47 was a very frustrating game to play. Silent Assassin was an extreme improvement back then

If this is the same as the Swedish shop you'll get this for about $30 which is amazing for those three games. I fucking love the music in this trailer btw

A lot of people are saying, "Why are they making this when I've already played these already!? What a waste!" but think about it this way. There are several people who haven't really played the Hitman series and wouldn't mind paying 30-40 bucks to get 3 of the 1st 4 games in the series with slightly better graphics. Maybe it's only a slight improvement, but honestly, who cares? If you are playing a game and all you care about is graphics, why even play the game at all?
