on a 98 4v cobra....i might put a catted x pipe ans slp lm1's....do you think i will lose power...or should i just put the cat-back on?...

@reaper519 So if i was looking at swapping my 4.6 GT motor for a Cobra Jet (supercharged) i would want to stay away form the SLP's?

@irishsoccerguy No back pressure....typically when a supercharded motor or any motor for that matter losses too much back pressure in the exhaust it will loose torque. And the HP benefit I would have gain the motor would have had to rev way beyond it redline. So I actually lost HP and TQ in my usable RPM range.

Had the same set up for a while.........just got annoying.....lil too loud. Plus loss 12 hp and 22 ft lbs of torque. Went back to a 2X2.5 in by 4" out MAC ........muuuuuch better.

Yea I got tired of this setup and It was way to loud when I took off the cats...now im saving for a bassani catback
