@amm0714 I am truly sorry. I should not have called it bogus. I honestly had been told that seizures only happen when the brain is unconscious. I love animals and am glad you made me aware of this. I have a cat, too, and he is my heart.

@snooklefritzen There are many different types of seizures, more commonly noticed in dogs. It's actually quite rare for a cat to experience them at all, or have a medical issue that causes them. My kitten is showing these exact same signs here, though the vet found that she's not diabetic and it may be from a tumor or other neurological disorder.

Thank you for posting this. I have a 7 month old kitten who is showing these exact seizure signs. We're taking her to the vet tomorrow, but I wanted to try and find something similar to her condition so I would have a better idea of what might be wrong with her. I also took a video of her to show the vet.

About 3 Or So Days Ago My Kittens Mouth Started Twitching, Her Eyes Went Wide And She Started Shaking And Drooling Then When I Tried To Pick Her Up She Scratched Me And Started Running Around Funny My Parents Wouldnt Let Me Take Her To The Vet Though Im Just Worried About Her Because She's Only A Little Over A Month :(

This reminds me of my friends cat Sherry Kitten had seizures like this, along with drooling and runny eyes. Eventually they got worse and it was discovered why she was having seizures, runny eyes, and drooling was amazingly part of her brain didn't form. Glad your kitty is feeling better, sadly sherry kitten didn't make it her heart stopped on it's own about a month shy of her six month mark.

My cat does this too. Is it a seizure or just muscle spasms?

hes nice
This video was reviewed by several veterinarians, and they confirmed that it was a real seizure. This particular one was caused by hypoglycemia. Like humans, animals experience many kinds of seizures, and they all present different symptoms. Had my cat experienced a grand mal seizure, he would have looked and acted quite different. I posted this video to show other owners of diabetic cats what a hypoglycemic seizure looks like, because I had no idea what they looked like at first.
