  • Finnair has high quality touch screen PTVs on their widebody Airbuses, the film/music selection is rather limited though.

A nice plus is you can send sms messages and short emails.

  • I LOVE FINNAIR! I might just fly with them in the near future... to Japan.

    Screw SAS!

It can be as short as 6 h 45 mins if you're really lucky (as I once was), but usually it's somewhere between 7 and 7½ hours, sometimes a bit more. HEL-JFK usually takes around 8-8½ hours (my experiences range from 7 h 50 mins to 8 h 40 mins).

  • Great video! I appreciate you putting the annotations up. I might fly this route next summer.

  • @metal484 because when you fly back the gulf winds push you. When you fly to JFk your going a longer route.

  • @vanhakaveri there's a few reasons. A lot of flights flying from Europe to the US fly a more southerly route and not to mention head winds.

  • @metal484 why it takes longer to fly hel -> jfk?
