If you don't cry at that famous speech you've either got a glass eye or a stone heart. The Nez Perce are vanquished no longer and have their traditions/land long since back. Joseph would be proud of his people for carrying on their ways in spite of every adversity thrown at them--U.S. army policy, crooked politicians, the clergy, boarding schools, swindling ranchers--evil people one and all. Here's to the Nez Perce people.

@AceSkepTik Yes, you're right. but its still a pretty good movie--and until a full native cast of Joseph comes along, this one will at least educate people of a important slice of Nez Perce history..

Chief Joseph was a great man. It's just a shame there were hardly ever any Native people portrayed by Native people in these old movies.
