Paul and I visited the "Lama Temple" today, a Tibetan Buddhist temple and monastery right in the heart of Beijing. Strange, right?

  • Chinese New Year 2010 - Lama Temple, Beijing -- please search and watch the youtube.com video. You are there in summer. Nobody is there. not so for Chinese New Year when 100,000 people jam the 7 inner courtyards and circumblate the outside.

  • this bitch is talking alotta shiz!

  • she's brave

  • Below is precisely the bigotry that requires to be extinguished by such freedom fighters...Im so proud of her and people all around the world who voice an educational opinion...unlike examples below. FREE TIBET!

  • Would be good to hear from a lots of 'Tibetan youtubers', give an insight into how they feel about the 'free Tibet Movement' etc ,and how they would run Tibet if they were independent. This may dispel any accusations that they would return to some odd practises of years gone by, or be unable to build their country , Whats the evryday Tibetans view ?

  • Muslim preacher persecuted for believing in Ahla:

Ali al-Timimi was convicted by a court in Alexandria, Virginia, in April. Presiding US District Judge Leonie Brinkema said the evidence supported the mandatory life sentence. The 41-year-old cleric was accused of telling young Muslims at a mosque that believers must take part in a holy war in support of the Taleban in Afghanistan.

Is this the speech and religious freedom westerners are preaching to China?

  • You know what, I hear some Christians claim Ghod is not religious, and *He is a fact* ;-) I bet you agree with him. Talking to you, I witness again close-minded and stanch suppression of Religious Freedom. I call for you to respect diversity and religious freedom of all people. Obviously, there is neither tolerance, nor accommodation for religious freedom in the US - only Christian domination.

  • Try taking a photo with Lhadon against her will, and see if she is going to sue you. It's YOU who don't understand a thing about HUMAN RIGHTS.

  • "Maybe it was disrespectful to the guide, but he doesn't deserve any respect." -- How could you expect to be respected if you don't respect others?

  • Somehow Chinese inevitably have no understanding of what the phrase "human rights" means. Recording someone without permission has absolutely nothing to do with human rights unless it's being done by a state/police agency to obtain evidence without first getting a warrant. Maybe it was a criminal act under Chinese law but this government has no legitimacy anyway. Maybe it was disrespectful to the guide, but he doesn't deserve any respect.
