  • The TV-B-Gone Pro model goes through electrical tape, gaffers tape, and duct tape (these tapes are only translucent to Infra Red). :)

But, this isn't an attack. It is merely turning off a TV (which makes the world way nicer).

    The TVBGone.com

    ships anywhere in the world

  • do you have to put in a code for each tv or can you walk up to any tv and just turn it off.

  • There is no need to put any codes in -- just point the TV-B-Gone at the offending TV, and click the one and only button.

  • You do realize that there is a very easy countermeasure for this type of attack. All you have to do is take a piece of black electrical tape and put it over the IR sensor of the TV. Of course, That means you won't be able to use your remote to control the TV.

  • @sineadsss Im sure they will ship to ireland on amazon. I bought mine from amazon for £12

  • where do i get one in ireland???

  • not probably..... definitely but a good demonstration

  • haha "I Think I will hit back to the lab"

  • they should make a remote that gives computers BSOD's lol

  • The second half is probably staged, but it would be SO funny.
