SCA Alfie Awards Project

An entry to USC's School of Cinematic Arts Freshman Film competition, this two minute short explores the struggles encountered by a brand new freshman as he struggles to get his bearings and make the most out of college. Many thanks to Karan Lyons, the actor without whose extraordinary patience this sort of photography would never have been possible. The film was created and directed by Ethan Wellin, produced by Alyse Friedman, written by Christina Piña, and features a soundtrack created by Evan Iwata. Thanks also to all the extras who donated time to make this short possible.
