Compared to an established DAW like Logic, pro tools. sonar etc Ive always found Acid sounds very very poor sonically and although its fun and useable for very basic sketches I cannot for the life of me come up with anything that approaches 'professional 'sounding. is this just me or does Acid do a poor job at conversion etc does anyone else find this when comparing acid to other PC multi tracks? Its a step up from E Jay thats about it.

I can't believe such negative people exist in the world? anyway big up for a great introductory tutorial I actually landed here looking for a tutorial to show me how I can map my controller knobs to some of the faders etc in acid. I've been using Acid Pro since version 2 about 10 years and I don't want to use anything else. I love it and it's got nothing to do with Sampling I compose my songs from midi .

Hello there! I've just started using ACID Pro 7&I have a doubt. After I record the first track with a DLF soft synth and move onto the next track(2nd track) and if I select a patch/instrument from the DLF soft synth and play it then the sound of the instrument on the first track is also heard. I hear a Piano-track 1 and Bass-Track 2 at the same time. But when I record that 2nd track then only the selected tone/patch of the 2nd track is heard. What could be the problem? Could you please guide me?

man, lucky i still know how to use this program, i haven't use this program in like 2 years in high school.
