easy there, when I see a bike coming I always pull to side a bit so he can pass safely on our side the road, and most bikers give a thumbs up which is nice, I respect bikers, mayb its because I want a bike license some day : D

I've seen these traffic calming chicanes before. I'd like to see the name of the individual who gave approval for their use published. Utterly dangerous, why not install a zero tolerance speed camera instead?

What a shitty road configuration. Is there a good reason they use this type of traffic device/network? I mean the weird exchange of lanes? Anyone from the area or know?

In my expierience bikers are some of the most erratic road users, Speeding, weaving between lanes, under taking. Im not saying all bikers are at fault but if drivers are urged to think bike perhaps bikers should be encouraged to think car.

The chicane causes the danger.

If the chicane were to be removes, the road would be much safer.

I always kept to the left when going through the traffic calming bits, yep I know that gives the car the idea Ive moved over for them but its better than dieing.........

Did you notice the typical responce from the police that its always the rider at fault even though this report is on cars bad driving.. the police are at fault more than the drivers for not taking any action against them. ride safe bud
