It depends on where are you in the world when you ask if it is a white or black person. I am not trying to be black more than what I am. I guess I would be called white. That is me with the dreads that you see there. Why are you asking? Am I the first person that you see with dreads that is not black? I was sure there sure more whites with treads than blacks with dreads. I could be wrong. I had the impression that there are more whites than black people with dreads.

I think it is like doing the 1st step to the last step... on the 1st try... can't go wrong! But, I noticed in the Video the Gauge Cluster Originally had up 5,000 RPMS where as the New Cluster had Up to 6,000 RPMS? Would the RPMS be Wrong? Might Have Problems with those having to SMOG with the RPMS not being calibrated? Just an Observation! Thanks for The VID!

it works perfectly with 6k instead of the 5k. again, please don't miss the point of this film-it is there to show my customers how to install this kit. I have over 20k of them and many were afraid to buy them because of the installation. this film is there to help them install it and overcome that fear of taking the cluster apart.

you are welcome. I am glad it helped you. I sell these white face gauges and I realized many are afraid to buy them because it looks very complicated to install. it is not really that hard if you take your time and follow these steps.

@8747800 - he did that so he could get an accurate measurement of where the oil and temp gauges should be when the engine is at normal operating temperature.

@steliostsi - they arent that accurate in the first place on those trucks for starters. But that's why he took pictures of the gauges before adding the new face, so he could set the needles where they needed to be, and from what I saw, that's exactly what he did. And even if they are off, its not exactly hard to re-calibrate gauge needles.

quick tip: Before taking the dash off you need to set the e-brake drop the truck into first gear to remove the dash bezel

I installed this product on my k1500. Looks great in the daytime but at night, the whole panel lights up white. The night picture is a little deceiving. Your picture has just the numbers glowing, looks nothing like mine at night.

idk why would u let the engine warm up? wat i did is turn the key on "on" postion (without engine running) and then i take the pik. mines working fine.
