http://www.premierguitar.com PG's Jordan Wagner is On Location in Chicago, IL, at the House of Blues where he catches up with Testament's Eric Peterson. In this Rig Rundown segment, we check out Eric's new signature Dean 'V' which features Testament's first logo (dating back to pre-Testament, when they were known as Legacy). In addition, Eric talks to us about scalloping his own guitar, the limited amount effects he uses and his latest amp choice for their most recent studio effort.

  • "They wanted" this and "they wanted" that... what kind of company has dean become? If they ask a guitarist to sign up with them they should be prepared to make a guitar completely to the artists desires like every other company

  • Did anybody notice that the higher frets of the guitar he's holding are scalloped?

  • @TreyMoore92 Yeah everybody, because they talked about it

  • Eric peterson is dean's bitch.

  • @Bigmanbam44 That's subjective on whats best out there. I am not a big fan of Deans. Good guitars but not for me. Quality wise unless it's made in a companies in house custom shop they are all about the same with just varying feel and specs, and that's all personal preference. The two best sounding/feeling guitars I've ever played ( for me ) were/are a 80's Hamer Special I screwed up selling and a older Korean made Peavey V type EXP I have now.

  • @leetheshredder dean makes the best guitars out there but there is also a project like this bein profitable and able to market not that you would understand anything like that. and trust me no company makes guitars exactly to what the artist wants for sale to the general public theres always minor difference to ease mass production.

  • @leetheshredder dean just lost a great chance to make a even better and more killer guitar, if they just pay attencion to the artist desires...

  • @leetheshredder i agree, is so true, that is not cool...

  • don't forget your little homage to satan with your goat of mendez pentagram. give me a fucking break. satan is a pussy

  • @Plutoniummatt

Give it a break dude, it's down to taste. I personally stand neutral on EMGs, and I prefer Bareknuckles.

  • @Plutoniummatt :D :D :D :D ... im sorry for you that your own emg-hating trip hasnt come to an end yet. but it will end. you can trust me. at least when youve got a swamp ash guitar with a emg85 in it.

  • @c4tze do you even play guitar?
