I have been subscribed to you for a while. Really enjoy the style and timing. Where do you get your arrangements? Have you been able to find other musicians to play with that appreciate this style? Just curious. I would like to play more of this style to break up bluegrass/country jam sessions but most of the people I play with couldn't follow the progressions. Keep up trhe good work.
Thanks so much!! I get my arrangements from whereever. I have a few fakebooks for the chord progressions - the Hal Leonard Jazz Fake book is best. I like to listen good swing vocalists for the feel of a tune- Ella and Sinatra rule!
I would LOVE to find more folks who wanted to play this music, too. I have some buddies I play with, but too infrequently. Drop me a line if your ever in Chapel Hill!!
That Pheonix just sounds so clear and sweet over the tube! You sound great on this Brad! If I am ever in Chapel Hill, you can count on me stopping by!! :)
Come on by! Same to you, if I ever get to Alaska...!
