I also like your pointed replies to DavidDebka who pretends not to know our culture and tries to pretend that there are injustices inherited in us and in our culture. Unfortunately, his sources are some shameless people, who only according to him, think that they are Pashtoons.

Pashtonwala needs no introduction. It's an established way of honorable and honest life.

Those people who see us as Deamons are usually the ones who have never met us or spent any time in our vincinity, If they had, they would know, we show honour and respect to women more than any other race of people!

To some of these people they would like to see their own women walking around naked, and they call it honouring them...lolzzzz.

What I don't understand is whats it got to do with anyone, how anyone else dresses???

Why do the audience women have to wear a hijab and sit at the back but their Muslim husbands are allowed to stare at an uncovered female singer?

Isn't this all a bit hypocriticial of Afghans? C'mon Afghans let your women be free like this singer!

not all of the women in the audiance are wearing a hijab, Usually women are seated at the front,as can be seen, and not in the back as you have stated. Whats more, what's it got to do with anyone how a woman wants to dress ?

All those people who wanna see women unveiled, They should start at home by stripping their own mothers, daughters, wife, sisters etc... and then bring them on to National Television, so we can all see, But yet people only talk, They don't put words to action.

It's always puzzled me as to why Muslim cultures are so chauvanistic and two-faced.

My Muslim mates tell me it's okay for men to keep girlfriends. . but on the other hand, their sisters/wives are forced to remain virgin till marriage. Otherwise no-one would want to marry them!

Isn't this all a bit unfair on women? Why is Afghan culture so much driven by males, and all for the interest of men?

This is all very wrong to me!

Actually it's not ok for Muslim men to keep girlfreinds while they are married.

Afghans are not liabel for the actions of others, untill a few years ago majority of the western countries were or in some cases still are Male dominated, should the whole of Christianity or the Whole of Europe are held liabel for their actions ?

Even though Afghans are Muslims,but every race has diff culture, traditons to others, Whats good for one person might not be suitable for others.

Dear DavidDebka! You need 2 learn about Pashtoon culture & Islam through their original sources and live among them; not through some losers who because of their personal deviation paint the rest of Pashtoons with shameful characters. There is no difference between a man and a woman when it comes to piety, virginity and other virtues. Do you know that an adulterer is allowed to marry only a lady who had committed adultery? Remind your sources.
