THANK YOU for knowing what a DIRGE is Michael Hedges, whomever you may be. I was looking for some dirges on YouTube, and half of them are bouncy techno. How SEVERELY inappropriate.
(A dirge is a funeral song of mourning.)

Sadly Michael passed away in a car accident back in 97. This is one of my favorite songs he wrote, and I do believe he managed to instill a prominent semblance within these 3 minutes.
That's not to say that funerals are supposed to be depressing, hell, I wouldn't mind my one to have a jazzy vibe and cocktails on the house :) Death isn't bad, it's simply nature.
