Do you have any interest in getting the newly released Blu-ray version? I read the review and saw screenshots on Blu-ray.com and it's gonna be on my list of priority Blu-rays to get. I'll happily upgrade even though I bought a widescreen version at Walmart 6 months ago for $5.

@bluto1992 Definitely. I haven't looked at screens yet, but from what I've heard so far it sounds like (gasp!) they actually did it RIGHT! What??? An Evil Dead movie actually done PROPERLY on Blu-ray??? WHOA!!! But seriously yeah, I'm overjoyed to hear that, will be looking into it for sure.

The Blu-Ray transfer is awesome, but there's a Limited Edition of the Blu-ray and that's the only way to get the extras.

@HorrificanStudios Though even then apparently not all the extras form the Ultimate Edition have been ported over (most notably all the Ladies of the Evil Dead stuff). So looks like we STILL need to have multiple editions to truly have everything...

The Evil Dead Ultimate Edition on Blu-Ray is actually in the works as we speak so if anybody has holded out this long...hold out for a little while longer for some HD ED goodness!!
