@tchachinafan EXACTLY!! This was certainly the best ribbon of 2004 games, and in my opinion, the best routine. I personally think this was THE BEST rg performance. The fact that it wouldn't have made a difference is proven by the fact that Alina still beat Irina in qualifying and that Irina only got 26.725 for this performance. It definitely should've been in the 27s. Ah, this is the one time she brought out her best stuff in qualifying, and look what happened to her in finals.

@hpobsessor1 your last sentence is what the saddest part is isn´t it??, didn´t matter if she had the performance of her life, she wasn´t going to win anyways, they weren´t going to let her have it :(

WHY couldn't this be her finals performance and not her qualifying performance? Her only problems were a bent leg in the element she messed up o in the finals and a loss of balance in the anti-illusions.
Second to Kabaeva in finals is just not fair, if it had been one of the Ukranians, OK.
Not that it would've changed the outcome if she performed like this in the finals.

@MarchingBalletDancer Tchachina's ribbon and hoop routines scored higher than Kabaeva in qualifications. Anyway, I can't explain why in final Kabaeva got the first score in ball and clubs, and especially with higher Execution score! Tchachina was A WAY CLEANER than Kabaeva, who made mistakes in all of her routines!

I think that this olympic games were better than in Beijing! Here Bessonova, Godunko, Peycheva, Yusupova and other gymnasts are young and not tired and CHASCHINA WITH KABAEVA ARE REALY AWSOME GYMNASTS!!!!!
