This video shows how to make unpainted/chromed metal look chromed and like new.

Now we've developed two products to make any unpainted metal look like chrome. Metal polish number one, totally liquid, it is for restoring metal to perfect. Metal polish number two is for making unpainted metal look as if it's chrome. You gotta shake both metal polishes like crazy. Now metal polish number one, You're going to use about this much. So metal polish number one first. Now this is billed aluminum, ok? it is pretty ugly, so I'm going to go ahead and do a section so that you can tell a difference and identify what we've Improved. I'm going to do these three spokes, and i want you to see how much tI'me it takes me to do it and how much effort i take to do it. You're going to see here in just about one second how shiny metal with this much effort and that much tI'me. To get metal perfect, use microfiber. You notice I'm using a micro-applicator pad to put it on, micro towel to take it off. Now, watch this. Ah yes. So this looks dang here like chrome now. So have a look now at these three spokes after just metal polish number one. It's clean, theres no more oxidation, and we're talking about a completely different looking peice of unpainted metal. Now, onto number two, which makes it look like chrome. And then you don't do metal polish number one and metal polish number two, one two every tI'me, you maintain just using number two. Again, always use a microfiber pad, You see how liquid, this is completely liquid, there is no pumice, no grit at all in this, so you're never going to have those fine little lines you typically have with other metal polishes. You can get those completely out and then take your metal and make it look exactly as if it chrome, and thats the goal with any unpainted metal in my opinion, just make it indistinguishable from chrome. Ok, the favorite part of metal polishing, removing number two. Oh my gosh that's great. I hope you guys can get this on camera, this looks fantastic. Look at the difference on this, you can absolutely see these three spokes that we did, and look at the others, look at the difference. You won't find a higher gloss for any unpainted metal and most Importantly you won't find any easier way to achieve that gloss

People that say they are experts at polishing are using a different definition of polishing. They think that to polish you must remove metal material, and they would be correct.
This kind of polishing doesn't remove metal. It only fills in the gaps to create a smooth finish, and it must be reapplied over and over (like every week). It's more like a wax than than a polish, but the retail industry seems to have stolen the term. Why did I just take time to write this? I don't know.

Its ..what you call a wet clean! ,, the wheel was rain stained ... it was all ready polished before hand ..... try a vid on old alloy... lol any alloy polish will do that

Yes, I would have liked to seen this go to work on a well used wheel, not a dusty/dirty NEW wheel. I am in the polishing business and can tell everyone this, unless it's already polished, you CANNOT make it look like chrome with any product. It takes lots of work and elbow grease!

Its pretty easy to polish new aluminum. Any polish with jewlers rouge is fine for this application. For actual oxidation, more time and effort will be spent to acheive the #7 finish. Anyone that tells you that just simply applying it and wiping it clean with minimal effort is just trying to sell you their product. Polish means polishing, but this is kind of common knowledge.
