  • This is the BEST video on final fantasy XIII I've seen, you analysed actual flaws and positives and explained them, and you didn't complain about crap like nostalgia or disappointment, thumbs up to you good sir

  • I still need to finish the game. I just stopped playing the game once I got to the open world-ish section. I wasn't frustrated with the game, but I think I was too distracted by other games and didn't find the time to come back and finish it.

  • @ThePossumReport I wont disgaree about hating 12 but i enjoyed that game, because it was the only final fantasy character where there was no main character all of the characters were equally important to the story something i felt the whole series lacked

  • i loved FF13. it wasn't perfect but it got me back in the series (first game was 12. i hated that game)

  • actually its this shit like gran pulse that tends to put me off JRPGs. They require a big investment of time and I often find myself quitting half way through due to burn out with crappy side quests (last revenent pc) or or some other bad aspect that I didnt mind when i first started but after ive settled into the game becomes a massive pain.

Atm ive still got a couple of other360 JRPGs sitting on my shelf waiting for the day get the urge to play them again. still need to grab Res of Fate tho

  • I quit when at gran pulse, loved the battle system and the lack of fetch quests up to that point. It wasnt that the monsters in gran pulse were hard per-se, it was that I that I needed to lv up my weapons and the swap my characters for each battle and spend time setting them up, both systems were really dire imo. The only alternative was that I had2 grind to level my characters, including train a sentinel char as a ravager.

XIIIx2 fixes most things but ild have to finish xiii b4 i play it :(

  • To be honest I shouldn't have read the text log to understand the story...

  • Lot of good points, here. Although, and I hate to break it to you, this video is almost two years late :P

  • cool background music

  • @neverchris coming out with a lot of vids lately. I love it. good stuff man

  • "It doesn't really change the entire PARADIGM of the video game, or SHIFT the focus..."

    i c wut u did thar
