Final Fantasy VII Boss Rush #09 Bottomswell

This boss fight takes place after arriving at the port town/city of Junon and heading to the beach. A little girl Priscilla is there playing with her friend, Mr. Dolphin (What the hell Square? XD) when the Bottomswell attacks!

This boss, compared to say the Motor Ball or the Hundred/Heli Gunner boss fight is a little more on the easy side. It can be poisoned for one and doesn't really have any major damaging attacks. The only disadvantage you have against it is its long-range, so characters like Red XIII/Kurisu and Cloud/Jeremy can't physically attack it unless they have the Long Range Materia equipped.
Other than that, the thing doesn't have any really devastating attacks, even its Big Wave isn't much of a threat, just keep in mind that it does use the move when it dies in one last attempt to give you a game over. With the right strategy and playing it carefully, this guy is a push over, in my opinion.

The only thing I can say to look out for is its Waterpolo, which acts like Reno's Pyramid. They encase a character in a bubble and slowly begin to drain away their HP. You can still get rid of them with a magic attack as they only have 40 HP so do that ASAP and don't let all the characters get encased or its pretty much game over.

And just a small note to anyone who might not know: Yuffie/Izzy is one of the optional party members of the game so its entirely possible you might not have her before this boss fight. ^_^ I just make it priority to get her as soon as I enter the Junon Area since she's my favorite character so... I guess I shall say: get used to seeing her.

Uhhhh well, hmm lol Yuffie certainly did an interesting attack there, not a bad boss fight here, his Big Wave does seem like a dick move as does Marco Polo lol.
