@PhilipJFry72 Most homeless suffer from debilitating mental illness. Due to lacking social support framework (thanks Stephen Harper, thanks Gordon Campbell) these people tend to be completely marginalized, essentially squeezed out of society. When you're deemed unfit to work and live on the street, drugs are going to be the ONLY you live for, that temporary reprieve from a grueling reality. It's too late to help most of these people, unfortunately, but INSITE mitigates the damage being done.

WOW! How sad is it that you HAVE to... In fact, you're addicted to my negative attention - it sustains you. I'm wondering just what else you put in your burgers... Not to mention that honestly, if you had been a soldier at any point in your pre-mental diseased, camera-degree life, you would kill yourself. You would just put an end to your suffering. Just do it. Your only social sustenance comes from my negative attention - you're sick.

What kind of leadership has Stephen Harper show by appointing Tony Clement as Minister of HEALTH?
Overwhelming positive health outcomes; increased access to addiction counselling and drug treatment; reduced needle sharing (less HIV/AIDS); less used needles in our parks, near children; no people dead in alleyways; no increases in crime in the area
The CMA and WHO call for more facilities like this.
Tony Clement dismisses it all referring to Insite as an ABOMINATION!
