The Corrib gas field is a natural resource of the Irish people, but almost all the great wealth involved will go to private companies. This video is Part 1of a series detailing how this national treachary came about and the shameful part played by the polititions who sold out for a trivial sum into party funds. Part 1 deals with the history from early days and how the oil companies faked the core drillings to show less gas than was present in the drillings.

What rich pickings? They have been exploring for 40 odd years & all they have found is a few puddles of Gas & oil, get a few hundred people to mortgage their homes to run their own exploration rigs.
