Verizon's 4G LTE service is fast and the network is growing rapidly. One problem has been that all the phones capable of using Verizon's LTE have been... well, expensive. That ends now, with the release of the Pantech Breakout, which goes on sale Sept. 22, 2011. The Breakout is the first affordable LTE phone and it packs some nice features to go along with speedy Internet access. In this unboxing video, Wirefly's Bob Kovacs takes the Pantech Breakout out of its retail package and shows what comes with the phone.

  • Does this phone come with a SIM card? If it does not where should i get one for the cheapest price?

  • @metalgsolid20 If you get the Pantech Breakout from Wirefly, it will come with the LTE SIM card. I can't speak for any other source for the phone.

  • can you download music on it

  • @iowa8disasterpiece Yes, you can download music to the Pantech Breakout. The Breakout is an Android phone, and you can do anything on the Breakout that you can do on any other Android phone, including listening to music, watching videos, playing games, etc.

  • @jbdl071508 Nothing on the phone will work without the LTE SIM. You won't be able to get to the main Android screen without the LTE SIM.

  • @wirefly But if it doesn't have the LTE SIM, will everything on the phone still work, without texting, or calling, or web?

  • @jbdl071508 You need an LTE SIM to activate the Pantech Breakout. It will not allow you to get to the main Android screen without an LTE SIM.

  • I have a question I hope is answered soon. Do you need to have a SIM card for the phone to activate? Or can it just work off of how all the other phones have worked before?

  • T-mobile germany he ment

  • @camcamoo7 Sorry, I'm not familiar with the Galaxy Ace. T-Mobile has lots of excellent phones: HTC Amaze, HTC Sensation, HTC myTouch 4G Slide, and soon the Samsung Galaxy S II... just to name a few. I can't give you the price in euros, and you couldn't buy any of these from Wirefly, anyway. Wirefly sells only in the US.
