    that yo la tengo has sabotaged what is probably their most commercially viable track with a video which talks over it the whole time only makes me love them even more

    no, I totally mean heavy metal, most of the bands mentioned really fall in that category...glam rock is prior to HM, but it is considered as an influence for HM bands...thing are simple, you like HM, I don't, cant get any simpler than this....
