i melt in the first 10 seconds of this video every time '' a new song called.. the perfect. boy''
ooh my gawwd

The guys at Hall of Fame (The Cure was nominated this year) didn't mention Jason but Boris Williams. That made Robert mad who released a note stating that Jason has been The Cure's drummer for 17 years and blah, blah, blah
The fact that Boris was mentioned instead of Jason, was perceived by many as a tribute to the best Cure drummer ever.

@gardzy1 finally another person who thinks jason cooper's good :) well said dude
-
I got sucked into the jason hate for a while. But you know what? I just heard this again and after hearing all the instruments as a whole I just think that as long as it sounds fucking fantastic I don't care.

The Jason hate is ridiculous, considering he's like, what, the fourth drummer? After Lol Tolhust, Andy Anderson and Boris Williams, not counting one-gig stand-ins or whatever? Just folks with nothing else to do. Boris was great, and he's the drummer I knew when I was growing up, but hey, the Cure's been a revolving door of sorts for almost 30 years. Comes with the territory.

love it

i just love the cure because you will never find a band so melodic as they are, always one step forward. They draw a smile on face every time hear one of their songs... and thats priceless

@tabbythenut nice to see someone talking sence on the youtube comments :) i dunno who you are but you're awesome
-
(contd.) Whatever's the case, I personally adore Robert for who he is no matter how he looks, and I will always find him attractive because he's really like no other human being I've ever come across in my life.
Just my two cents. YouTube commenters downright piss me off a lot of the time.
The Cure are just beast, plain and simply put. ♥

Your an Idiot, as simple as that. Jason Cooper is brilliant on the drums. If you know the history of The Cure you'd have a much better understanding of their sound. There are many songs out there which often over emphasize percussion, The Cure's longevity is in part because of their unique blend..
