  • @Bennowa85 Hi Ben, thanks for the comments. Yeah the Hawk is going great so far, the main thing for us is to slow down and take things easy. We had about 18 months prep for this trip, most of the research was around making the 4WD and Camper as self sufficient as possible (and within budget...). Get a copy of Camps 6 edition book it is our bible! Youtube was great for looking for current vids on the areas we were looking at going. We are also part of a 4wd club, so many suggestions offered...

  • Great vid guys! hahaha must be the curse of the crab net..we only caught 1 very small yabbie in it too...panfry with garlic butter mmmmmm!! xxxx

  • @KVDB80 So you broke it?!?! nothing wrong with our fishing/yabbying skills... hahahha...

  • Nice one Nigel. What camera and editing gear do you use? We did Queensland last year - The western parts are wonderful I thought. Just loved it.

  • @lauriekibblewhite Hi Laurie, thanks mate, we are loving the trip so far! we are currently in Alice, replenishing supplies and a couple of services and repairs. I use a 1080p handheld video camera and Corel's Video Pro software (old version). Enjoying your vids, keep 'em coming.

    Cheers Nigel.

  • Brilliant - can't wait to see the next video. :)

  • Love the videos so far mate. Heading off for 12 months around Australia with my wife in September, and watching your vids are definitely adding to the excitment! We're towing a Jayco Swan Outback, and leaving from home in Perth... How's your Hawk going so far? Also, any books, websites or guides you would reccomend we read? Keep the vids coming... The professional quality is making them quite enjoyable to watch. Cheers, Ben.
