I was the Asst. Mgr. then Manager of the Cabana Club from 1997-2005. The Cabana Club is visited by thousands of resort guests and many residents. Please allow me to make a correction. It isn't possible to walk from the end of Tarpon Blvd. to Pritchard's Island. Skull Inlet is very deep. Over the years I called Sea Rescue to assist folks who were stuck in the strong current trying to swim or kayak across. I just want to let people know it's not safe to try to walk or swim across Skull Inlet.
@michellebasso ...hence the name skull inlet...
