I've always enjoyed this song, but it just kind of dies here, and it's not just the absence of Collins on vocals. The whole performance just seems to be watered down for some reason. Can't exactly place why, but perhaps it's the absence of Chester Thompson on drums. NirZ tries here, but he's not Chester and just doesn't have what Chester has. Not agressive enough, and a little off beat. Chester and Phil both made this song really rock during live shows with their drumming.

This isn't really the Wilson/Genesis band at their best. This was shot early in the tour and they were obviously still nervous and trying to work out the kinks. I've heard performances from later in the tour and they sounded a lot tighter. Unfortunately, the writing was on the wall by then.

Its just a dreadful song. Always has been. Dark days in the Genesis catalogue. I though Ray was good though! and im an old genesis fan....from the early 70s

this ain't too bad a little off key in places but wouldn't like hearing paul carrick or fish singing this song tbh.maybe thats why they chose Ray.
