The commentator should listen more carefully himself. Jowell does not start by saying the total cost was being met by the Lottery and London. She refers to their"contribution" She goes on to mention the earlier commitment by Government of £1 billion for re-generation. The obvious lies and distortions in the commentary beggar belief. and although I am opposed to any state, municipal or Lottery Olympic funding this item is simply another gratuitous cheap anti-government smear..
