Hosted by Lou Gossett JR, the documentary will reveal the dramatic life story of Sheila Raye Charles and her family's effort to come together after years of battle over their fathers mismanaged legacy, and all that surrounds it: the good, the bad and the ugly. Sheila Raye Charles is one of the 12 children of legendary Ray Charles. She is a vocal artist and has co-authored her life story. Several of her songs were produced by ray charles. Her focus now is to bring the family back together.

The documentary will be directed by Will Harper, an Emmy award-winning director of VH-1s Behind the Music with Lenny Kravitz, Clint Eastwoods 40 years of Monterey Jazz Festival, Jamie Foxxs Unleashed and Oprah & her daytime show.

I MET SHEILA IN GREENVILLE FLORIDA SHE CAME FOR THE MEMORIALTHAT WAS BUILT FOR HER FATHER. THEY COMPLETELY REMODELED HIS HOME TO THE WAY IT WAS WHEN HE LIVED THERE AS A CHILD AND IN THE PARK THEY HAVE BUILT AS GREAT STATUE OF HIM ALSO. SUCH GREAT PLEASURE TO MET SOMEONE AS NICE AS HER.... :)

Love it, relate, been searching for some radom recovering crack addict that sang a song i fell in love with on late night tv, only to find today that she's one of my favorite musicians daughter. i dont believe in coincidence, God realizes I've been getting high for a long time and is pretty blatent with His directions. I just dont listen, most the time, yet.
