WSI leaking Garbage Leachate April 14, 2009

I have been filming these trucks every Tuesday morning since October 2008. Every time I have filmed a WSI truck driver releasing garbage leachate from his truck as he travels through our communities, I have sent a copy to Vancouver's Mayor and Council. As of today there has been no correction of the problem. This morning the WSI truck was still releasing garbage leachate and I have been sending Vancouver Mayor and Council films showing them this is occurring since October, 2008. October 2008, November 2008, December 2008, January 2009, February 2009, March 2009 and now April, 2009.

The Federal Government says the release of garbage leachate from compactor garbage trucks is a Provincial and Municipal responsibility. They seem to forget the responsibilities of the Minister of the Environment, Minister of Health and the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans.
The Provincial government says this is a Municipal government responsibility. Somehow all levels of government in Canada feel the poisoning of the Earth and the poisoning of the people and all other living things are not something worth addressing and correcting.
At one point the Provincial Minister of the Environment would answer the letters I sent to every Member of the Legislative Assembly but now they just ignore the letters and videos and pretend this is not happening,
I have been trying to stop the release of garbage since the Spring of 1991. I have created a flickr collection titled, 'We've Been Poisoned' that documents the work done from 1991 to 2003 and you can access that collection with the following link.

While all of these levels of government in Canada pass the issue like a hot potato, the Earth and all that live on it continue to be poisoned by drivers of compactor garbage trucks releasing garbage leachate on unsuspecting communities.

I had seen this many times from a few garbage trucks. it is not normal for liquid from garbage in a garbage truck to leak.

truck more then likely just has a bad seal on the tailgate..explains the leaching..get the truck # and call the company..simple

Where is this because when you look @ WSI website it says that they only have locations in miami n canada? Do they have good benefits, and pay @ wsi?
