@KoviZX i know, some years ago was the "turbo era".. Which year of construction is it? Why should they take so much risks and run such an old motor on a dyno?

Freakiest thing with the BMW F1 turbo engines is the engine blocks are sourced from 3-series passenger cars, usually taxicabs. BMW repurchased engines that met certain criteria concerning mileage, driving habits and whatnot - the net effect was the blocks were settled and proven. The block was prepared, cooling route was altered, unnecessary brackets were ground off and cylinder bored and lined - and that's it. The head and all of the internals were anything but stock obviously.
