i could tell she was annoyed with me, but that was the thing with selena, she hated being angry so it usualy only last about an hour at the latest, by Dinner time at 5pm we were all sat round the long table in the dining room. "so how was the carnival girls" daddy asked. "it was good, they're were horse's there too" selena replied, i looked at her closely, there were no horse's there today, but after her little convorsation with nicholas she was now going to try her chance's with daddy and ask for her own horse.


"really, did you get to ride them?" he asked, "no, but i saw a really nice horse today, and the owners invited me up to look at more of thier horse's" she replied then stuffed another bit of pork into her mouth. "hmm, are they in good condition" dad asked, "yes" she said "well in that case how much do they want for one" he asked, gettin up to get his cheque-book "daddy are you serious!" she was squeeling with excitment


that night when we were excused from the table selena almost skipped all the way to her room, once in our room i grabbed her by the shoulders and turned her around so she was facing me


"what were you playing at down there, you almost gave us away to dad" i hissed at her "she glared at me "i didnt mention them did i" she answered back "thats true, but what would you have done if dad wanted to come with us, or even started asking questions" i said to her, she removed my hands from her shoulders and looked at me "i would have though of something" and with that she grabbed her cell and dialed in a number i didnt recognise "who's that" i asked her, she ignored me. great i was getting the silent treatment now. "hi nick" selena said and she went all girly, great this was all i needed, for selena to start liking them. ugh.


the next morning i woke up early with selena and changed into my old jogging suit, "what are you doing" she asked me "im coming with you" i told her, i mean i wasnt going to leave her on her own with 3 poor off farmer lads. she just laughed a little, but then focused on doing her eyeliner, she had put on her old pair off skinny jeans and a random tee from her dresser. She shoved her hair up and i done the same. she still wasn't talking to me so i sighed and gave up


"im sorry selly, i just dont think we should be hanging around with them, i mean think of the trouble we'd get in if daddy ever found out" she smiled at me and hugged me, "i dont think the old man would mind, not if we want them to be our friends" she then pulled away from the hug and held my hand, "come on, or nick will think im not gonna show up" and with that we were off running to the car with the old trailer for the horses.


both Nicholas and Joeseph were there waiting for us when we got there, selena ran straight up to nick, i looked closely at him, he was looking at her with a stupid cheesey grin on his face. poor guy, he was getting too close to selena for his own good. Nicholas took selena off to show her the horse's and as they left she shouted back at me "ill choose one for you too" and with that they where gone. I was left standin there, not knowing what to do. I looked up at joeseph who started to grin "you know, even wearing tht you manage to look hot"


When would this guy get it into his head i just wasn't into him, he grabbed my hand and started walking. I tried to shake my hand away from his but he just laughed and carryed on walking. "where are we going" i asked him, "you'll see, its a surprise"
