  • just curious, why do people live in japan wen they cant speak or read it!?

  • @wilric01 to learn. for adventure. to see the world. to meet amazing people. and to have some fun with our jobs while we are young.

  • If moving to Japan if you allready have some items like a TV would you recomend brining it with you or just buying a new one in japan?

  • @fallenangelforever this is probably way too late. but sure! the plugs work. however, you might blow a fuse if you bring something like an american microwave...i would buy anything that requires heat here in japan! good luck!

  • "for adventure" "too see the world" blah blah blah.... how cliche`.

People don't like foreigners coming to the US who can't speak or read the language. Yet, we Americans think we deserve more respect when we travel abroad. LEARN THE LANGUAGE.

  • @wilric01 kinda like all those living in america that don't speak or read fluent English

  • so it's not just the british that get landed with all that american crap tv

  • Where did you get your sofa? Was it expensive?

  • @wilric01 Hey that's dumb.

Many Americans live in London and they can't speak English !

    .

    Mahalo,

    del-boy

  • this looks a bunch like @meaphe -san old apartment. But they probably are made pretty similarly ^_^ Maybe you both can trade tips and tricks - if you haven't upgraded your living space yet. (I realise the upload was back in 2009)

    Thanks fir the video!

"GOSH I hate these Americans who adopt cheery tone and the way their voice goes up and down to sound 'cute'...just speak English for god's sake!"

Jeez, you must not like hearing Japanese girls speak, then.

"BTW the toilet buttons or whatever ells you read in Japan; IT IS NOT WRITTEN in 'Japanese', it's written in Kanji!!!"

Technically, it'd be written in both Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana. But it's still Japanese.

  • The apartments are so efficient! Loved the toilet where you can wash your hands on top of it. It'll probably fills up the tank with that waste water so it can be used for the toilet later.

Very nice video. Enjoy your stay and IMHO, those who turn down the foreigners coming to the U.S. are never intelligent enough to see the value of traveling and learning about different cultures therefor never bother to travel.

Just sayin... don't judge these people when you don't even know them. "10majfar"

  • what is ur job ther btw

  • @jewellmv

What is your course of study or type of work that puts you in Japan and is it hard to get by not knowing the language. My niece will be stationed there in a month for a military tour and she is nervous about it. It will be her first deployment out side the U.S. I told her she is lucky to get the opportunity to see such a beautiful country as (well as one not at war) like Japan.
