just adding to this guy, u can only push as said in gurbani if u overcome your , five thieves, which are, lust, anger, pride , attachment , greed and main one ego. Once u conquer this through shabad listening, singing , focusing on god blocking your illustional world as one may say only than u can connect your soul with god, cos all this money, peer presure things will always be there to distract u who u r.
