http://shogun2strategy.com - This strategy guide is for beating the 4th Battle of Kawanakajima on very hard. It is an intersting battle that is slightly tough to beat. The main issue is the abundance of bowmen the enemy has. Check it out!

  • i'm sorry to say that but u aren't so good as strategist.

  • @Altair13390

I played this battle at 1am in the morning on very hard, with no pauses or slowing down time. It was at normal speed all the way through and this was my 1st or 2nd attempt on this battle. I hadn’t even read the unit manual to see unit strengths/weaknesses and best uses. On top of all that I admit right away that the strategy could be improved. I think anybody who wins first time on very hard is a 'good strategist', newbie.

  • Feel free to post your own videos though. Play on very hard, no pauses or slow-downs and win decisively against superior numbers. If you manage that I might consider owning you in multiplayer :)

    Thanks for the review!

  • how many battles are there?

  • @priest1090kukulcan

Three historical land battles and one sea battle.

  • can you also do that naval historical battle which you have to fight 6 big ships as 8 small ships?

  • @hanzun

I am uploading the next land historical battle in a few hours. I will do the see one very soon though, perhaps tomorrow or the day after.

see all

Sorry for this third comment, but I wanted to ask, is wedge formation really that useful? I never use it since i've heard mixed things (some people say it works and some say it doesn't). What does it do? Doesn't it not work against enemy infantry in square formation (since the center of the wedge can't break through in the charge)?

  • @TheGameStrategy

nevermind i only saw the beginning; didn't know you were just using that formation against enemy archers. i saw later on you used yari in front with spear wall.

  • @TheGameStrategy

why not put YARI in front and KATANA behind YARI? they hold against cavalry better and are terrible units anyways. i would have saved katana samurai for later on, when opponent melee is tired and your katana samurai are still fresh and almost at full numbers. then you charge XD. you do lose YARI ashigaru this way but katana samurai are more important/better units anyways.

  • @TheGameStrategy Man, if you aren't good that's it....You think for yourself that you are good strategist(even so this isnt about strategy but tactic as there are diferences between these two)and you can think, but this is just game....

  • All you moogs talkin smack: he didn't create this video to make yourselves feel better about how you play. I'm willing to bet that people don't care that YOU think he sucks.

What's with these kids that place so much importance and status within their video games

  • You really don't know how to use calvary.
