We had a group of 30 recumbents ride in the annual "Cool Breeze Century" ride in Ventura, CA. Lots of fun riding in a new area with such a large collection of recumbents.

  • Awesome video. You really get cruising on your trike. Fun watching this in Feb. in Wisconsin.

  • @Utuber33 - Glad you enjoyed it. May your snow melt soon... :-)

  • Nice ride, but those hills must have been a killer. Strong work, Glen!!!

  • @TheDukenaed - yeah the hills slow you down... and are tiring but you just put it in a lower gear and spin... slower, but without the balence issues of two wheelers... you can even stop, rest... and keep going again without taking feet off the pedals. When we reached the top of one road in the hills, were we turned right and did a little more hill... lots of bikes stopped and rested... I just turned and kept pluggin away. ;-)

  • Awesome filming Glenn! Great comparison of the speed difference between a Velo and and non-Velo trike. Best vid yet!

  • @jimkeller10 - Thanks.. it was a LOT of fun jousting with the Velo! More fun than drafting behind Jon!

  • love the train going by cool lol and the 101 free way what can i say WOW

  • Glen, I'm afraid to ask what your average road speed is because my 10.0 MPH anywhere average will likely seem pale in comparison. Nice thing about trikes, one could measure speed in 'smiles per hour'!

Always a good vid..............., no exception here!

  • I run a small business producing carbon fiber bicycle parts in the Silicon Valley of California. I'm researching producing a faired recumbent and I need input form riders. Could I offer some design ideas and get some feedback from you..? It would be very helpful. Thank you...

  • Excellent production - as usual ;-) We would sooo like to ride with your group. It is great to see the variety of recumbents - and others. Man, those velomobiles fly...

  • Great work on the video!
