  • @jquebec2390 In case of Christianity there is one to "SEE" all you can find is if you actually look is these stories are stolen from other cultures- and a bunch of peoples "Claims" without a shred of evidence to support it. The countless gods named JE$U$ never existed

  • @FourDeuce01-- Well I believe from the evidence ---I am not going to list evidences, they are out there for anyone to see...

  • @astujest RE: “- In Gen 2:2, to finish a work, in Hebrew conception, is to CEASE from it, to have done with it....” >< Okay then why didn’t they make that alteration in any of the variants for a modern, & clear understanding, since all else in the Bible is altered?

But if you insist that gods don’t rest, then god & Jesus should be brought outside the gates of heaven (so to speak) & stoned to death for working on the Sabbath. Gods own rule right?

  • @fourteatwo Good intentions? All the way through it? Even after you are asked to consider that the act of others somehow sticks to you and lines you up for a horrific consequence? I don't think that it deserves my "good intentions" after such a hamfisted, absurd attempt to coerce me to personal shame and regret.

  • @fourteatwo:"it would not occur to the wise toothfairy that it might be the ignorant reader that is the problem"

No it wouldn't occur this ToothFairy, because this here ToothFairy once was a xtian who used to believe your myth and it's unholy book drivel.

Any book on how to live your life that one BELIEVES IN (faith), is sure to make one feel that the book's advice is helping.

Show us your god and then we'll talk

  • @AtheistToothFairy

"It's just so freaking OBVIOUS that this holy book of theirs, was written by ignorant men and that no advance being of any kind helped them in any way, let alone their 'god'"

it would not occur to the wise toothfairy that it might be the ignorant reader that is the problem. The book has helped many but one can not force you to read it with good intentions if you haven't got any

  • @astujest Of course gods don't get tired. They don't exist.

  • @pinball1970

'only beings who are tired need to rest'

    - In Gen 2:2, to finish a work, in Hebrew conception, is to CEASE from it, to have done with it.... When nothing more remains to be done, the purposing agent RESTS CONTENTED. The resting of God arises not from weariness, but from the completion of his task. - Barnes' (1798-1870) notes on the Bible. A rest not because of weariness.

God does not get tired. He neither slumbers nor sleeps (Ps 121:4)

  • God is a bitch in heat - and, she needs 'servicing'
