God as creator, created the world good because he is good and everything he created is good including humans. There was one catch though, he gave us the chance to play by his rules or to make up our own. Ever since Adam and Eve tried to play by their own rules evil has been introduced. But God in his great love offered us all a chance for redemption through his precious son Jesus.
funny how those who refuse to believe in God's goodness won't acknowledge the existence of evil but like to blame God instead!!! They're also quick to attack sites that honor the creator...mindless sabotage or carefully orchestrated spiritual terrorism by evil forces operating in the lives of individuals who remain rebellious towards the God who loves them so much that He sent His dear son Jesus Christ to redeem their lives from such negativity.I love you Jesus, my redeemer, the God of love!!!
@tallliza again, I don't believe that he works like that. Your strategy is to make your version of God, someone who spews pillars of fire and turns people into salt, the only possible version, and then prove that version wrong. I cannot give you such an example (outside of the Old Testement, which shouldn't be interpreted literally in many parts, or the Quran) because He (as far as I know) doesn't operate that way. That said, I respect your beliefs, and I think we can agree to disagree.
@tallliza I have a very deeist view of the world. As I just said, I believe God created the universe, its laws, its structure, etc, and for the most part is pretty Laizzez-Faire so far as human activity. Otherwise there would be no accomplishment, no sense that you did something because of your own power, and not that of others. With no hardships, no temptations, man would have no chance to prove himself good or wicked. God offers guidance, strength, and hope in the face of adversity.
@tallliza Because the United Nations has a wonderful record for actually making a big difference in these cases. Faith keeps people going and keeps them from giving up completely.
Also, the act of human kindness is what happens when one is stirred by the Holy Spirit. God created a world with laws and structure, as science has revealed to us. These laws give us a world we can work with and achieve in, but can result in things like this. God helps by lending us strength and moving us towards good
@wlomas378 Well, their believe in a deity hasn`t helped them a lot, did it ? They should put their faith in the United Nations, because this god will not lift a finger to help them. He never did. !!
