On NJ Transit's Hoboken Division There is a fleet of 10 locomotives painted and lettered for Metro-North. These locomotives are operated by NJ Transit but were paid for by MNCR to be used on trains to Port Jervis and Spring Valley NY.

The only place to see Metro-North F40PH-2CAT locomotives are on the routes out of Hoboken Terminal.

My favorite unit on NJT-namely because it's my birthday, but anyway-I went out to Waldwick that day and find it highly ironic that you were in Hoboken the same day-anyway, question-when you go to Hoboken, do you take PATH or change in Secaucus?

I only change at Secacus Transfer on weekends. On Weekdays I take a Coast Line train directly up to Hoboken.
