Afghan men are neanderthals, only on the first rung of the evolutionary ladder. They are afraid of women, which is why they control them, imprison them, punish them. Most will never know love nor have a loving, caring relationship with a woman. I pity them. By contrast, the women seem intelligent and if only the men would allow them a proper place in society Afghanistan could improve by leaps and bounds. Such a sad, tragic place, scared by the follies of ignorant & hateful men.

medically, women in those muslim countries suffer obscene problems/infections/weeping sores/hideous skin discomfort/hair loss/deficiencies due to body overheating/skin not being able to breathe

We want educated women and an educated new generation. what a person wears is upto thier choice. By the time when we were living in Pakistan, there werent any taliban to enforce thier strict laws on us, even then our women used to cover themselves. there were thousands of schools and colleges only in the city of peshawar its almost less than what we have in kabul now, America has occupied our land only for the minerals that we have, its not here to make our life better.

@ all: Why are you focusing on "what do our women wear" have you ever asked the arabs eg. uae, saudi, oman, as why do they cover themselves in black? No because they like it same is the case with our women those who wear it they like it. why is this lady wearing the black abaya? because its the teaching of her religion. Perhaps we will be able to educate our women in the next decade Inshallah. No woman from a respectable family will go out uncovered. because we are Muslims.
