Once I get this working and setup on my Mac, do I need to redo the setup every single time I want to sync my playbook?

If this doesn't work for you try smb://+ your ip address. Example smb://192.168.1.100
It wouldn't work for me using the tablet name.

For some reason when I connect my Playbook, the folders show "empty" as though there are no files in them. Any help?

@bblove302 Yup sure can. Just put the image in the pictures folder, then choose to set as wallpaper.
