Denise's unique and beautiful ballad version of this classic song from her new album "HOTEL LAFAYETTE" which will be released in April, 2009. It was recorded at the multimillion dollar Chicago Recording Company with a 70 piece orchestra that was conducted by Colin Welford from Wicked. It was produced, arranged and orchestrated by Carey Deadman of Real Horns and Broadway In Chicago. The tenor sax solo is by Eric Schneider, a former member of the Count Basie Orchestra.

  • Fantastic!!!

  • Great! So easy to listen to. The strings add so very much to the entire project. You are "special" girl! Thanks for sharing your talent with the world. Outstanding!

  • You've got a unique voice! I like it!

  • muy buena interpretacion para los sentimentales

  • You are wonderfully splendid! Your voice is so rich and pure, very easy on the ears! Good luck at the Grammy's!!

  • I miss my hometown and I'm living in it! Work that one out guys?

  • Hi Denise...really beautiful recording! I love your voice and phrasing and the saxophone solo is amazing! Fantastic arrangement as well. I'm glad that I had the chance to listen:)

  • A much more subdued vocal . . . not sure which one of the two I prefer . . . this version, to me, is more "sentimental", if you will. The other version, to me, has a "wham bam" feeling to it. So, I'f I'm in a blusey mood, I'll listen to this. If I want to feel the spirits, I'll listen to the other!!! MASON
