  • Why did you cut out the march at the end (starting at 4:38)? Totally unnecessary and a geunine loss as it leads directly into the glorious finale.

    IMO the element that makes "Victory at Sea" so special is the music. The series would be much less without it.

  • Really? I didn't know that.  It's a shame that these newer productions - including the boxed VHS set - contain such butchery.

  • there is about a minute of this episode missing

  • the last scene of this episode sends chills down my back.
