  • man that is awesome stuff. i wish mine was that quick. i noticed you left your tray down. and i was wondering did you do that thinking you may get less drag? only asking because i was watching mythbusters and they proved that leaving your tray up actually creates less drag due having a permanent pocket of air in the tray area of you ute which makes the car flow similar that of a sedan. probably make fuck all difference really.

by the way love the mags you chose.

  • Hi Sam,

I watched the same show but I don't think my crew did.I had it up when I got in the Ute was down when I got back...Go figure?

I will take it off next time & try the power too weight theory.

    Murray.

  • holy sh*t mate! what work have you done to get it down to 12.1. best i got my ute was 12.8

  • Hi,It's still running the stock motor with injectors, nizpro plenum,4" dump pipe, eboost2,valve springs etc etc..

I'm in the process of doing the bottomend up in next month or so.

Justin at Blacktrack Performance in Newcastle is a wizard with the edit.

Should be in the 11's real soon...

    Murray.

  • Yea that is true but if you watch it again they also say that having the tail gate down will actually give you more downforce (thus giving you more traction once your going) so it is better if you are likely to loose traction once your down the strip a bit. If that makes sense

Muzza, how much power does you ute have???

  • Top run Muzza!

Keep swingin that stick shift, those auto boys have it too easy!

  • nice work muzza, hopefully i can replicate a similar time very soon.
