  • McCain's campaign is inciting violence.

  • spikebravo: i am afraid i have to correct that^^ the incidents where a person yelled ''of whit his head'' and ''kill barrack obama!'' and ''TRAITOR!'' neither mccain or palin said NOTHIGN, actully mccain smiled when a woman yelled ''TRAITOR!'' in his speech.

mccain recently though tried to calm down the people at his rallies because he suddenly realized that most of hte people at his rallies called for the assassination of obama, i just personally think that it is mccain's fault to start whit.

  • Wow, now how do you do that? Amazing!

  • Not happy--neither was Obama. It WAS a tough comprimise; it was like being placed between a rock and a hard place. And the economic problem IS very complicated. Paulson, I heard, is now adapting Europes strategy of dealing w/ the crisis. Obama unveiled a new economic plan today, I haven't looked at. We DO have a large deficit right now. And it IS logical to leave Paulson in: he "knows where the bodies are buried." And the bailout is last minute regulation--the process should be transparent.

  • So you're happy with retroactive immunity for FISA courts? That's a tough compromise. I don't get the plan any more than the greatest economic minds? If you don't think the greatest economists get it or believe it will be successful don't you think that's a problem? (Henry Paulson is not an economist, he's a Goldman Sachs CEO) Regulation and transparency are very broad terms. What do you (obama) mean specifically? You do know that the country is bankrupt right?

  • The FISA amendment was practical in that we have a Republican president w/ veto power. Wiretaps now have to go through a FISA court, which is better than the previous FISA bill--sometimes, we must factor in realism into idealism. And yes, we're in debt. And no, you don't get the economic plan any more than half of the greatest economic minds out there do (otherwise, we'd probably dump Henry Paulson). We know we need regulation and translucency, and we don't know HOW much it will cost.

  • I don't understand what you mean by "watch the watchers." Is that more important than supporting the Bill of Rights and our Liberties?

I firmly believe the bailout was not a necessary evil. Do you know where the 700B is coming from? We are either borrowing it or printing it out of thin air. Any one who understands monetary theory and our fiat currency would agree that the plan is a disaster. I used to support Obama too, but research the issues and you'll see how wrong he is and has been.

  • Actually, I think Palin confronted some people today who were chanting "Sarah! Sarah!" mistaking them for protestors, and bitched them out. Very funny. Though this was against(she thought) HER and not Obama, and wasn't threats of violence.

  • Um... Obama wasn't thrilled about voting for Telecom immunity but that wasn't what the FISA bill was about. It was so we could "watch the watchers." And the Bailout bill was a necessary evil--the entire 700 billion will not likely all be used. You have a different economic plan?
