End Times - Antichrist

The "Antichrist" (1 Jn 2:18, 22, 4:3; 2 Jn 7) is known by many names in the Bible, "the Beast" (Revelation 13), "the son of perdition" (2 Thess 2:3), "the idol shepherd" (Zech 11:17), the "little horn" (Dan 7:8), etc.

He is called "the prince that shall come" (Dan 9:26) and will come from the old Roman Empire. The Antichrist "shall confirm the covenant" for 7 years opening the period known as the Tribulation (Dan 9:27). This covenant will include a peace treaty and will allow Israel to reestablish the Temple sacrifices (Dan 11:31, 12:11). But at the mid point of this 7 years he will break the covenant and commit the he abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel and the Lord Jesus (Dan 9:27, 11:31, 12:11; Matt 24:15; cf 2 Thess 2:3-4; Rev 13). The Beast will exalt "... himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God" (2 Thess 2:4), and his image will be placed in the Temple of God and the mark of the Beast instituted.

God knows everything and He has recorded it so we can know in advance. It will come to pass as prophesied.

FACT: "And he [the Beast] shall confirm the covenant with many for one week [7 years]: and in the midst of the week [after 3 1/2 years] he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation [Temple sacrifices] to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate ..." (Daniel 9:27)

I interpret 2 Thess 2:1-3 to mean that the Rapture must come after he is revealed. I believe in a Pre-Wrath (or mid-trib rapture)

After the Rapture I believe. Because the bible says that he cant be revealed until the Rapture Happens. But i could be wrong though
