great job of covering the solo it took me ages to learn it because their are some very tricky phrases in it and have you tried it on a fender telecaster before because i think it sounds more accurate on a tele but thats just me and those old wem amps jimmy used to use in the late 60,s are impossible to get a hold of today

@shredmaster100 I have not tried it on a tele but I will some day. This particular version was part of a 4 part demo of that specific guitar. The original studio version of Page's sounds awesome on his tele. For the live version, not sure why he chose to go with a Gibson double neck instead of a Fender double neck....unless Fender would not make him one.

I was pretty sure the push/pull pot on the #1 was a phase reversing switch, rather than a coil tap. He talks about it in the video that Gibson made before taking his #1 to be copied, which you can find on here. The #2 has phase switching as well as coil tapping. Regardless, that squawky sound is phenomenal.

@danakerman yes, the signature guitar's wiring is not exactly like Page's original guitar. on the signature, the pot is for coil splitting and the middle toggle position is for phase reversal. the Page #2 signature guitar has the exact wiring of Page's real #2

Great job. I would kill for that guitar and that tone. But it's too bad they don't make a Jimmy Page telecaster, since that is what he used to record this solo. :)

yeah i dont know why maybe fender didnt make double necked guitars back then and telecasters are good just make sure if you use one to raise the bridge pickup for more bite

nice !! really great job dude i saw all your other vids this has probably the closest tone to page's guitar . can you tell me how you set your amp eq to that tone??
