Hair care questions answered!

I've been getting alot of questions on my hair and I hope that this is helpful :)!
I will have a styling video up soon for all of you who are wondering!

I realised that in this video I didn't really explain how much I actually really like being blonde and that I decided to go blonde because I needed a change (not just in hair colour but in my life in general lol) ... I found it is a big confidence booster and for me is worth the effort :):) If you are thinking about trying it, I think its worth it, but these are the things that I didn't really realise before I went blonde :P

What drugstore brand can I use to get this color exactly and what shade

@TheErinSanders I wouldn't be able to tell you a drugstore shade as generally speaking none of them are pure bleach as they deposit colour onto the hair. This is a level 10, which is the lightest you can go and pretty much was made by mixing a strong developer and bleach, but no deposit of colour afterwards. I recommend going to a hairdresser to find out what they would use to get this colour on you and then go by their recommendation

I just felt better about myself with the blonde hair, but I guess I grew out of that phase :P

@MTCx18 definitely use white lady by wella or ivory lady. Or clairol professional high lift toners. someone at a beauty supply will help you find a strong purple/violet based toner. Just make sure it's violet and not blue based, blue cancels orange and purple cancels yellow :)

im a reeeeally light blond and i tried doing my roots myself which are dark brown and they came out blond but a little more on the yellow side and dont exactly match the rest of my hair. do you suggest putting on another box of dye to make it lighter or using the purple shampoo?

@kansasfananna I had used the colourextend range previously and it didn't work for me, the reason it was so dry is because it was 6 shades lighter than my natural colour, but I haven't been blonde for over 2 years now...

i have a question.

i have bleached my hair before and never heard of purple shampoo and then i dyed it back dark. but i want to try bleaching it at home in about month, so i can let my hair sit, but if i get purple shampoo will it work really well even on the brightest orange? or no? ERGENT!!

wow, your really pretty with blonde hair. Usually it seems that brunettes that go blonde look unnatural but you really pull it off :)

you shouldnt bleach it to your scalp! thats so bad,

when your blonde ur ment to have a little bit of roots! it sucks that ur dark brown though! must be hard work! x

@onlinebeastful Who are you trying to fool? You have jet-black kinky hair that stands up in a huge poofy afro. Don't be ashamed of it. Be proud of your African heritage and stop with the racial self-hatred already, beastful. Life will be much more pleasant when you stop pretending you're a blonde white woman.
