brah, I used to live in wailua homesteads and me and my friends were some of the first to blaze that trail leading down from the top of the falls to the bottom. This was back in the very early 1980's. We used to climb halfway up the face of the falls and jump into the pool. And we used to have guava fights there too. Good times.

Ok I have wanted to go to the bottom for years. Did you start at the top of the falls where all the signs are and the small memorial for the 2 ladies? I saw there was a rope so someone must be maintaining part of the unofficial trail.

@kahanaohana No really need, I go back once every year or two. But this the first time I saw the bottom of the falls since graduation in 1985. I never went fishing there but we used to set prawn traps on the top of the falls. Had some big suckas.
